START BY:a) remove valve cover
Two wrenches must be used when the fuel injection lines are loosened or tightened to prevent damage to the nozzle.
1. Use tooling (A) and remove fuel line (1) from the fuel nozzle and the cylinder head. Put caps or plugs on all fuel line openings for protection. 2. Remove nut (2) from the fuel nozzle assembly. 3. Use tool (B) and remove the fuel nozzle assembly from adapter (3). 4. Remove nozzle (4) from valve body (5).5. If necessary remove seal (6) from valve body (5).Install Fuel Nozzles
1. Install seal (1) on valve body (2).2. Install nozzle (3) on valve body (1). Tighten the nozzle finger tight only. 3. Put clean fuel on nozzle assembly (4) and install it in adapter (5). 4. Install nut (6) that holds the fuel nozzle assembly to the adapter. Tighten the nut to a torque of 75 7 N m (55 5 lb.ft.).
Two wrenches must be used when the fuel injection lines are loosened or tightened to prevent damage to the nozzle.
Do not damage the seals in the inner fuel lines.
5. Use tooling (A) and install fuel line (7) to the fuel nozzle assembly and the cylinder head.END BY:a) install valve cover
