This Program must be administered as soon as possible. When reporting the repair, use "PI3110" as the Part Number, "7751" as the Group Number, "56" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and "T" as the SIMS Description Code. Exception: If the repair is done after failure, use "PI3110" as the Part Number, "7751" as the Group Number, "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code, and "Z" as the SIMS Description Code.

The bearing caps on the lower dozer push arm may crack due to defective material and improper heat treat process on certain D6R, D6R LGP, D6R XR and D6R XL Tractors. The cracked caps could result in the tilt cylinders to the dozer push arm to come loose. This could result in the cylinder and/or the one side of the blade to be free, causing damage to the cylinder or the tractor. The problem caps can be visually identified if the words "do not weld" is cast into the top surface of the cap.

See the attached Rework Procedure.
1. Lower dozer blade to ground and retract tilt to bottom of stroke.2. Apply pressure to dozer push arms by driving tractor forward enough to apply the blade trunnion pressure to the push arm bearing.3. Remove the (4) 7X0375 Bolt and (4) 4F2710 Nuts from the right side push arm.4. Remove the 8J2880 Cap and replace with new cap.5. Repeat this procedure for the left hand push arm assembly, the tilt cylinder group and the tilt brace assembly.Owner Notification
