Disassembly Procedure
Start By:
Remove the pilot manifold valve. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Pilot Valve (Oil Manifold) - Remove". Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before you begin the disassembly procedure, the exterior of the components should be thoroughly cleaned. This will help to prevent dirt from entering the internal mechanism. Precision components can be damaged by contaminants or by dirt. Perform disassembly procedures on a clean work surface. Keep components covered and protected at all times.

Remove bolts (1) and solenoid valves (2). Note: Mark the location of the solenoid valves for installation purposes.

Remove all O-ring seals (3).

Slowly loosen plug (4) until the spring pressure is completely released.

Remove plug (5), spring (6), spool (7), and plug (8).

Slowly loosen cartridge (9) until the spring pressure is completely released.

Remove cartridge (9), spring (15), spool (16), and poppet (17). Remove O-ring seal (12) from the cartridge. Loosen nut (11) and remove socket setscrew (10). Remove plug (13). Remove O-ring seal (14) from the plug. Note: Count the number of turns while you remove the socket setscrew.

Slowly loosen plug (18) until the spring pressure is completely released.

Remove plug (18). Remove spring (20) and valve (19). Remove O-ring seal (21) from the plug.
