Release the system hydraulic pressure. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Hydraulic System Pressure - Release".Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before the disassembly procedure, the exterior of the component should be thoroughly cleaned. This will help to prevent dirt from entering the internal mechanism.Note: Put identification marks on all lines, on all hoses, on all wires, and on all tubes for installation purposes. Plug all lines, hoses, and tubes. This helps to prevent fluid loss and this helps to keep contaminants from entering the system.

Remove the cap from the hydraulic tank and install Tooling (A). Attach an air supply hose onto Tooling (A). Apply 345 69 kPa (50 10 psi). This procedure will pull vacuum on the hydraulic system.

Remove support (1) and cover (2) .

Remove bolts (4) and disconnect pump assembly (3). Reposition and secure pump assembly (3) .

Disconnect hose assembly (5) .

Disconnect hose assemblies (6) .

Disconnect oil filter base assembly (7) and bracket (8). Lay oil filter assembly and the bracket aside.

Use two people to remove pump drive assembly (11). The weight of the pump drive assembly is approximately 34 kg (75 lb). Remove eight socket head bolts (10). Remove pump drive assembly (11) .
