When the bowl valve stem is moved to RAISE position (D), pressure oil from pump (21) flows through line (20) to bowl valve stem (16) in main control valve (3). The pressure oil flows around bowl valve stem (16) and flows through line (18) to quick-drop and carry-check valve (8). The pressure oil opens the quick-drop and carry-check valve (8) and flows into the rod end of bowl cylinder (13). The pressure oil in the rod end of bowl cylinder (13) moves the piston and rod upward.
