Which Generate This Code:The valve calibration data is stored in the valve module. On power up, the display will upload the valve calibration data from the valve module. Calibration data could not be restored from the valve module.Test Step 1. Cycle Power
Move the power/setup switch for the AccuGrade Laser system to the "OFF" position.
Turn the keyswitch for the machine to the "OFF" position.
Turn the keyswitch for the machine to the "RUN" position.
Move the power/setup for the AccuGrade Laser system to the "ON" position.
Check the status of the diagnostic code "CB 33".Expected Result:The diagnostic code is not active.Results:
YES - The diagnostic code is not active. Return the machine to normal operation. Stop.
NO - The diagnostic code is active. Proceed to Test Step 2Test Step 2. RECALIBRATE THE VALVE
Restart the valve calibration procedure. Refer to Systems Operation, Troubleshooting, & Testing and Adjusting, "Bank valve (Grade Control) - Calibrate"Expected Result:Recalibration causes the "CB 33 Restore Failed" code to become inactive.Results:
YES - Recalibration causes the "CB 33 Restore Failed" code to become inactive. Check for any other active faults using the "Fault History" menu. If other faults are active proceed to the appropriate diagnostic title in order to troubleshoot the fault condition. If no other faults are active, return the machine to normal operation. Stop.
NO - Recalibration does not cause the "CB 33 Restore Failed" code to become inactive.Repair: This is an internal fault. Contact your dealership's Technical Communicator for a possible consultation with Caterpillar Stop.
