Loosen bolts (1). Reposition plate assembly (2) out of the way.

Disconnect hose (3). Loosen clamp (5). Remove dust ejector (4) .

Loosen bolt (6) and remove precleaner (7) .

Disconnect harness assemblies (8). Remove bolts (9). Reposition primary fuel filter (10) out of the way. Remove bolt (11) .

Remove bolts (12). Reposition secondary fuel filter (13) out of the way.

Remove bolts (14). Remove plates (15). Repeat this step for the opposite side of the machine.

Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to hood (16). Remove hood (16). The weight of hood (16) is approximately 91 kg (200 lb).Installation Procedure

Use Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to install hood (16). The weight of hood (16) is approximately 91 kg (200 lb).

Install plates (15) and bolts (14). Repeat this step for the opposite side of the machine.

Position secondary fuel filter (13) and install bolts (12) .

Install bolt (11). Position primary fuel filter (10) and install bolts (9). Connect harness assemblies (8) .

Install precleaner (7) and install bolt (6) .

Install dust ejector (4). Tighten clamp (5) and connect hose (3) .

Position plate assembly (2) and tighten bolts (1) .End By:
Install the air cleaner. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Air Cleaner - Remove and Install".
Install the engine side guards. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Engine Side Guards - Remove and Install".
