Engine speed switch (1) "75% VERIFY" button (2) "RESET" button (3) "OVERSPEED" indicator
Press "75% VERIFY" button (1) on the engine speed switch and hold the button down.
Monitor the engine rpm and slowly increase the engine speed.If the engine speed switch is properly adjusted, the engine will shut down at a speed of 890 10 rpm. Red "OVERSPEED" indicator (3) will illuminate.If the shutdown does not occur at a speed of 890 10 rpm, adjust the engine speed switch according to Testing and Adjusting, "Engine Speed Switch - Calibrate".Note: The engine speed switch must be reset before the engine can be restarted. Press "RESET" button (2) .
