52. Install springs (64) on the No. 2 clutch housing.53. Install tooling (G) to hold the piston in No. 3 and 4 clutch housing (135).54. Install tooling (F) and a hoist to No. 3 and 4 clutch housing (135) and install it on the No. 2 clutch housing. Make sure springs (56) are engaged correctly with the piston in the clutch housing. 55. Install dowels (59) in the No. 3 and 4 clutch housing as shown.56. Install the rings on piston (58). Make sure the lips of the rings are toward the No. 3 and 4 clutch housing as shown. 57. Lower the temperature of the small bearing and install it in the end of output shaft (70) with tooling (K) until the bearing is 13.00 0.25 mm (.512 .010 in) from the end of the shaft. The inside diameter of the bearing must be 31.724 0.039 mm (1.2490 .0015 in) after assembly. 58. Lower the temperature of the large bearing and install it in the end of output shaft (70) with tooling (K) until the bearing is 5.00 0.25 mm (.197 .010 in) from the end of the shaft. The inside diameter of the bearing must be 40.790 0.141 mm (1.6059 .0056 in) after assembly. 59. Install gear (72) on output shaft (70).60. Use tool (C) and install ring (71) on output shaft (70) as shown. 61. Install output shaft (70) over the input shaft as shown. Make sure gear (72) is in alignment with the gears in the carrier. 62. Install bearing (69) on output shaft (70) with the notch in the bearing up (toward the end of the shaft) as shown. 63. Install ring (68) in the carrier that holds the bearing in place. 64. Install gear (66) on the output shaft. Make sure ball (136) in the gear is in alignment with the notch in bearing (69). 65. Lift output shaft (70) a small amount and use tool (C) to install ring (67) on the shaft. 66. Install gear (48) in the No. 3 and 4 clutch housing as shown. 67. Install plate (137) in gear (48) as shown. 68. Install four discs (57) and three plates (138) in the gear. Start and stop with a disc. 69. Install seal (55) and ring (56) on piston (54). Make sure the lips of the seal and ring are away from the teeth of the piston. 70. Install piston (54) into housing (47) as shown. 71. Install three springs (53) as follows:a. Install the first spring with the outside diameter of the spring in contact with the housing assembly.b. Install the next two springs with the outside diameter of the springs in contact with each other as shown. 72. Put plate (51) in position on the housing with the shoulder for the ring up.73. Use steel spacers and a press to put the plate and bevel springs under compression as shown. Use tool (H) to install ring (52)
