(19) Display When the electrical disconnect switch is in the ON position, power from the unswitched fuses is distributed as follows:
Power from keypad display fuse (1) is distributed to terminal "1" of keypad (5) and pin "12" of connector A-C10 of display (19).
Power from engine ECM fuse (6) is distributed to terminal "J1-48", "J1-52", "J1-53", "J1-55" and "J1-57" of engine ECM (11). This power is the main power input for the ECM. The ECM is grounded at terminal "J1-61", "J1-63", "J1-65", "J1-67" and "J1-69".
Power from machine ECM fuse (7) is distributed to terminal "J1-31", "J1-38", "J1-39", "J1-46" and "J1-47" of machine ECM (10). This power is the main power input for the ECM. The ECM is grounded at terminal "J1-13", "J1-23", "J1-26" and "J1-32".When the engine start switch is in the ON position, power from the switched fuses is distributed as follows:
Power from emulsion fuse (8) is distributed to the "BAT" terminal of flow transmitter (12) and pin "1" of 1800-Ohms resistor (2).Power from engine start switch (9) is distributed to the following locations:
Terminal "J1-1" of machine ECM (10). This power input provides a wakeup signal to the ECM.
Terminal "J1-70" of engine ECM (11). This power input provides a wakeup signal to the ECM.
Pin "5" of connector A-C8 for keypad (5). This power input provides a wakeup signal to the keypad.
Pin "11" of connector A-C10 for display (19). This power input provides a wakeup signal to the display.Keypad (5), machine ECM (10), engine ECM (11), and display (19) communicate through CAN communication lines. In order to prevent data loss in the communication lines, termination resistors are required at the ends of the CAN bus. The CAN resistors act as termination resistors. The CAN resistors absorb unwanted noise in the communication system which can result in abnormal machine operation. Differences in materials along the CAN bus can cause data pulses in the bus to reflect back through the bus. This reflection, also known as jitter, creates unwanted noise in the CAN bus. Jitter in the communication lines between computers can distort the original data signals. The distortion can result in data loss.Data in the CAN bus can also be contaminated with radio frequency interference (RFI). This interference can be caused by a number of devices which operate on or near the machine. RFI creates noise in the communication lines which can also distort the original data signals and cause data loss. The water and emulsion charge filter switch (3) is a pressure activated switch. This switch provides an input signal to machine ECM (10). This input signal is read at terminal "J1-34" of the ECM. The switch is grounded to the
