Remove the water pump. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Water Pump - Remove".
Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.

Remove elbow (1) from water pump (3) .
Remove tube assembly (2) .

Remove cover bolts (6). Carefully separate housing (12) from the cover.
Hold hex washer (4). Remove hex socket head bolt (7) .
Remove bearing (8) .
Remove gear (9) .
Use Tooling (B) to remove retaining ring (10). Remove bearing (8) .
Use Tooling (A) to remove impeller (14) .
Use a suitable press to remove shaft assembly (11) .
Remove water seal (13) .
Remove oil seal (5) .
