Remove both tie rods. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Tie Rod (Steering) (Front) - Remove and Install".

Install steering cylinder (2). Apply Tooling (A) to the threads of bolts (1). Install bolts (1). Tighten bolts (1) to a torque of 460 23, − 69 N m (340 + 17, − 51 lb ft). End By:
Install both tie rods. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Tie Rod (Steering) (Front) - Remove and Install".
Install the front axle. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Drive and Steering Axle (Front) - Install".
