Illustration 1. (A) Install grease fitting in this bushing block. No special orientation required for grease fitting.1. Remove the accessory pulley belt (if applicable).2. Drill a hole 8.75 mm (.35 in) in diameter and 9.55 0.65 mm (.376 .026 in) deep through the bushing block and the bushing. It will not affect performance if the drill cuts into the control shaft.3. Tap hole 1/8-27 NPT for grease fitting. Use a tapping compound when tapping the hole. Assure that all cuttings have been removed from the hole.4. Install 9U6773 Grease Fitting Kit to the hole and grease the bushing.
