Assembly Procedure For The Travel Brake Valve On CIPI Undercarriage Arrangements Which Are Based On 325C Track Type Excavators
Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before assembly, all parts should be thoroughly cleaned. Inspect all parts. If any parts are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement. Prior to installation, lubricate all seals with clean oil.

Install covers (38) and the new O-ring seals into the block. Install half flanges (37) onto the block. Install bolts (36) .

Apply 155-0695 Thread Lock Compound to the threads of the guide and to the threads of the plug. Install guide (35) into the spool. Tighten the guide to 6 1 N m (53.1 8.8 lb in). Install ball (34) and plug (33) into guide (35). Tighten the plug to 6 1 N m (53.1 8.8 lb in).
Repeat Step 2 for the other side of the spool.

Install spool (32) into the block.

Install guide (31), spring (30), spacer (29), sleeve (28), and new O-ring seal (27) into the block.

Install cover (26) onto the block. Install bolts (25). Tighten the bolts to 80 8 N m (59 5.9 lb ft).
Repeat Step 5 through Step 6 for the remaining cover.

Assemble the relief valves (8) .
Install seat (9) .
Install spring (12) and spring (17) .
Install backup rings (19) and new O-ring seal (13) into the piston.
Install piston (18) into the body.
Install backup ring (22) and new O-ring seal (21) into the stop.
Install stop (14) into the body.
Install screw (15) into body (23) .
Install nut (24) .
Tighten the nut to 130 13 N m (95.8 9.5 lb ft).
Install backup rings (11) and new O-ring seal (10) .
Install new O-ring seal (20) onto the relief valve.

Install relief valves (8) into the block. Tighten the relief valves to 540 50 N m (398.2 36.8 lb ft).

Install valves (7) and springs (6) into the block.

Install new O-ring seals (4) onto the plugs. Install new O-ring seals (5) onto the plugs.

Install plugs (1) and the new O-ring seals into brake valve (3). Tighten the plugs to 76 8 N m (56 5.9 lb ft). Install plugs (2) and the new O-ring seals into the brake valve. Tighten the plugs to 31 3 N m (274.3 26.5 lb in).End By: Install the travel brake valve. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Travel Brake Valve - Install" for the machine that is being serviced.
