1. Set transmission case on blocks so that the bearing axis is vertical.2. Tighten all bearing cage bolts.3. Rotate bearing several revolutions to set the rollers.4. Measure end play and add or remove shims (3) as required.5. Repeat Steps 2, 3, and 4 each time end play is measured.
