Start By:a. remove water pumpb. remove automatic timing advancec. remove crankshaft front seald. remove oil pane. remove alternatorf. remove engine front support 1. Remove the bolts that hold timing gear cover (1) to the engine block. Remove the studs from around the cover with Tool (A) to permit the timing gear cover to clear elbow (2).2. Remove timing gear cover (1).Install Timing Gear Cover
1. Put clean engine oil on the O-ring seal for fuel injection pump housing (3).2. Put a new gasket (4) and the timing gear cover into position on the front of the cylinder block. 3. Install bolts (6) that hold the timing gear cover to the cylinder block. Put 9S-3265 Retaining Compound on studs (5) and install with Tool (A).4.
