Information:

the start control relay while the engine control is set to STOP. The solenoid is receiving power when the engine control is set to STOP. Proceed to Test Step 6.Test Step 4. Create a Short Circuit at the Harness Connector for the Start Control Relay
Remove the electrical power from the engine.
Fabricate a jumper wire that is long enough to create a test circuit at the harness connector for the starter. Crimp connector pins to each end of the jumper wire.
Disconnect the harness connector from the start control relay.
Install the jumper wire into the two terminals of the harness connector for the start control relay.
Restore the electrical power to the engine. Set the engine control to STOP.Note: The 677-5 Engine Starter Motor Relay : Current Below Normal can only be detected when the
