Park the machine on a smooth, horizontal surface in an open area.

Rotate speed dial (1) to the MINIMUM position. Move propulsion lever (2) to the NEUTRAL position.

Move parking brake switch (3) to the ON position.
Stop the engine.

Connect the pressure sensor from Tool (A) to parking brake pressure tap (4) .
Start the engine.
Move parking brake switch (3) to the OFF position.
Move propulsion lever (2) to the full FORWARD position.
Read the pressure on Tool (A) . The pressure should be 4826 172 kPa (700 25 psi).
Move propulsion lever (2) to the NEUTRAL position.
Move parking brake switch (3) to the ON position.
If the parking brake pressure is outside the specified range, go to Step 13. If the pressure is inside the specified range, go to Step 16.
Loosen the locknut on brake relief valve (5) . In order to increase the pressure, turn adjustment screw (6) clockwise. In order to decrease pressure, turn the adjustment screw counterclockwise.
Hold adjustment screw (6) in place, and tighten locknut (5) .
Recheck the brake relief pressure. Refer to Step 7 through Step 12.
Stop the engine. Perform the following procedure in "Engine Stopped".Engine Stopped

Loosen lock ring (10) . Turn needle valve (9) in the fully counterclockwise direction.
Attach Tool (B) to the port "B" (8) of the manual release valve for the parking brake.
Use hand pump (7) to pump the valve until Tool (B) reads 4826 172 kPa (700 25 psi).
Turn needle valve (9) in the fully clockwise direction.
Tighten lock ring (10) .
Remove the tooling.
