Removal Procedure
If reusing the exhaust elbow, and or the bellows, refer to Special Instruction, REHS5014, "Reuse Guideline for the Lines Group - Flexpipe on Tier 4 Engines".

Remove panel assembly (1).

Draw alignment marks (7) that will cover both the lines group and the associated clamps, as shown in Illustration 4.
Wrap the bellows with a protective cover in order to avoid possible damage to the bellows during the removal and installation.
Loosen ball clamp (4) and ball clamp (9). Loosen slip joint clamp (6)
Discard ball clamp (4) and ball clamp (9). The clamp assemblies are a one time use part.
Slide exhaust elbow (8) into bellows (5) in order to gain clearance. Remove bellows (5). Remove exhaust elbow (8). Note: Steps 10 through 11 are only necessary if slip joint clamp (6) was loosened to remove the entire lines group.

Remove slip joint clamp (6) from bellows (5) by removing spot weld (10). Use a suitable grinding device in order to remove spot weld (10). Note: Use care not to remove excessive amounts of material and grind on the bellows.Note: Do not use a vice to secure the lines group. The bellows cannot be damaged in any way during this procedure.
Inspect the clamping surface on the outside of bellows (5). Deburr the surface if necessary. Note: If bellows (5) is damaged during the removal of slip joint clamp (6), replace bellows (5).
Repeat Steps 1 through 11 for the opposite side of the machine.
