Removal Procedure
Start By:
Remove the extender.
Remove the hydraulic cylinder (extender extend).

Attach a suitable lifting device to left side sliding guide (extender carriage) (1) and the upper tubes. The weight of left side sliding guide (extender carriage) (1) and the upper tubes is approximately 180 kg (397 lb).Note: The weight of the right side sliding guide (extender carriage) and the upper tubes is approximately 240 kg (530 lb).
Remove 16 bolts (2), the 16 washers, the upper tubes, the shims (if equipped), and left side sliding guide (extender carriage) (1).

Attach a suitable lifting device to remove tubes (3). The weight of tubes (3) is approximately 52 kg (115 lb).
Remove tubes (3) from left side sliding guide (extender carriage) (1).

Remove the retaining ring and bearing sleeve (4) from left side sliding guide (extender carriage) (1).
Repeat Step 1 through Step 5 for the sliding guide (extender carriage) on the opposite side.Installation Procedure
Install left side sliding guide (extender carriage) (1) in the reverse order of removal.
