Right Auger Current Calibration Using Caterpillar Monitoring System
Note: To access the following procedure after finishing a previous calibration procedure, hold the clear switch UP until "39-32" appears in the display then proceed directly to Step 5.
Get into calibration mode (hold the MODE switch UP until the monitoring system displays "-- 6 --").
After releasing the switch, "39" should appear on the monitoring system display.
Hold the clear switch DOWN until "39-11" appears on the monitoring system display.
Hold the clear switch UP until "39-32" appears on the monitoring system display.
Hold the clear switch down until "32-01" appears on the monitoring system display.
Turn the engine ON
Set engine speed to high idle.
Set the parking brake.
Set the right conveyor switch to AUTO (default is AUTO).
Set the right auger switch to AUTO.
Set the propel mode to PAVE.
Place the propel lever FULL FORWARD.
Hold the clear switch DOWN until "32-02" appears on the monitoring system display.
Turn the right height dial to the MINIMUM position.
Hold the clear switch DOWN until "32-03" appears on the monitoring system display.
Slowly turn the right height dial UP until the auger just barely turns.
Hold the clear switch DOWN until "32-04" appears on the monitoring system display.
Slowly turn the right height dial UP to the maximum desired auger speed. (140 rpm)
Hold the clear switch DOWN until "32 --" appears on the monitoring system display. Calibration is complete.
