Unlock the removable side of the blade.
Slightly raise the blade to clear the blade from the ground.
Remove the pin (2) and dowel pin (1).
Pull out bar (3) after having removed both of the retention cotter pins.

Fold the removable side of the blade. Place the end of bar (3) in the hole at the top left corner of the blade and push to fold the blade.

Place bar (3) and dowel pin (1) and pin (2) as shown in Illustration 38 to lock the removable side of the blade.Procedure to Unfold the Blade
From the cab, slightly raise the blade and make the blade swivel to the right until the blade is perpendicular to the machine centerline.

Remove dowel pin (1), pin (2), and bar (3) to unlock the removable side of the blade.

Unfold the removable side of the blade. Place the end of bar (3) in the hole at the top left corner of the blade and push to unfold the blade.

Lock the removable side of the blade.
Place bar (3) at the rear of the blade and attach with two cotter pins.
Install dowel pin (1) and pin (2) to secure the blade in the working position.
