The Electronic Control Module (ECM) detects the following conditions:
The signal voltage from the engine oil pressure sensor is less than 0.1 Volts DC for more than eight seconds.
The ECM has been powered for at least two seconds.
The engine is running.System Response:The ECM will log the diagnostic code. The warning light on the control panel will flash. The ECM will set data for engine oil pressure to the default value. The electronic service tool will display "Voltage Below Normal" on the status screens.Possible Performance Effect:NoneTroubleshooting:This code can be caused by a short to ground or a shorted sensor.Test Step 1. Perform the following diagnostic procedure: "Engine Pressure Sensor Open or Short Circuit - Test"Results:
