Remove the cooling package. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Cooling System Package (Radiator, Aftercooler, Fuel Cooler) - Remove".
Remove the fan. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Fan - Remove and Install".

Disconnect harness assembly (1), cable assemblies (2), and harness assembly (3) from electric starting motor (4).

Disconnect hose assembly (5).

Disconnect harness assembly (6) from electronic control module (7).

Disconnect harness assemblies (8) from alternator (9).

Use suitable cribbing in order to support generator (10).

Remove screen assembly (11) from generator (10).

Remove bolts (12) and bolts (13) from generator (10).

Attach Tooling (B) onto engine (14). Attach Tooling (A) onto Tooling (B). The weight of engine (14) is approximately 1361 kg (3000 lb).

Remove bolts (15). Repeat for the opposite side. Remove engine (14).
