Push down on the transmission control button in order to select FIRST GEAR. Note: The first indicator light will illuminate when the transmission is in FIRST GEAR.

Creeper speed control button located on the soft panel switch
Push down on the creeper speed control button in order to activate the creeper speed control.Note: The indicator light will be illuminated when the creeper speed control is activated.
Use the Monitor in the cab in order to disable the Automatic Engine Speed Control.
Select the "Performance" menu from the main menu on the monitor.
Select "AESC Status" from the "Performance" menu and change the value to "Inactive".
Press the "OK" key.

Joystick (front switch)
Disable the hydraulic modulation control, if equipped. Press the front switch on the right joystick in order to deactivate hydraulic modulation.
The air conditioning should be turned off for the following test.
Start the Electronic Technician.
Select the Machine ECM and then elect "OK".
Select "Diagnostics" from the main menu.
Select "Diagnostic Tests".
Select "Override Parameters".

Select "Travel Pilot Solenoid Current Override" (3) and set the current to 0.8 amp.
Use the Monitor in the cab in order to set the fan speed.
Select the "Service" menu from the main menu on the monitor.
Press the fifth quick access button from the "Service" menu.
Set the fan speed at 1500 rpm.Test Procedure
Personal injury or death can result from sudden machine movement.Sudden movement of the machine can cause injury to persons on or near the machine.To prevent injury or death, make sure that the area around the machine is clear of personnel and obstructions before operating the machine.
Release the service brake pedal.
Fully depress the travel pedal and stall the bucket in the full Bucket Open position.
Override the "Main Pump Power Shift Pressure Solenoid Current" until the engine speed has reached the correct value.Note: Refer to Table 2 in this manual for the correct pressure.
Select "Override Parameters".
Select "Main Pump Power Shift Pressure Solenoid Current" (3) and set the current to 0.5 amp.
Increase the current by 0.05 amp until the engine speed is 15 rpm above the target engine speed.Note: Raise the current slowly.
Then adjust the current by 0.01 amp until the target engine speed is met.Note: Perform Step 3.d with a fully depressed travel pedal and the bucket in the full Bucket Open position.Note: Pay attention to the engine oil temperature and the engine water temperature.Note: If the load is too high, or if the load rises too fast the engine will stop running.
If the target engine speed has not been met, check the following items: main pump pressure tap (1) , the transmission output speed and the engine speed.Note: Refer to Table 2 in this manual for the correct values.
Compare pump pressure and transmission output speed with the product of main pump pressure that is multiplied by the transmission output speed.
If the values do not meet proper specifications, repeat Testing and Adjusting, "Main Pump (Destroke Characteristic) - Calibrate".
If the calibration of the main pump torque fails, then the following titles will need to be performed:
