CAT REMAN ANNOUNCES REMAN BRAKE ANCHORS AND ADDITIONAL DRIVETRAIN PIECE PART OPTIONS TO LOWER REBUILD COSTS
Reman Brake Anchor Introduction
Cat Reman is introducing a new product option to help keep rebuild costs down. The addition of brake anchors to the existing piece part product line provides another option to help dealers control their rebuild costs. Like all Reman products, these brake anchors will be remanufactured to new specifications by building up the piston seal bores and/or applying other salvage operations to the brake anchors. Refer to the model matrix below to see which new parts are available as well as the kind of machines they are utilized on.
Always remember that during the initial product introduction, many orders for Reman components may be filled with new to seed the Reman introduction as per Reman policies. In those cases, the parts system may not always show availability for the Reman part but orders will still be filled as long as new parts are available. For more information refer to the Parts Availability Section below.

Additional Piece Part Introductions ? Spindles, Clutch Plates, and Duo-Cone Seal Plates
Along with the brake anchor introduction, Cat Reman has recently added additional part numbers to other existing product lines. These Reman options are available off-the-shelf to provide a cost effective repair solution that doesn?t require postponing the rebuild to wait on some salvage operations.

Parts Availability Commitment
As stated in SELD0122 Policies and Core Management, Caterpillar is committed to lead the industry in overall parts availability and customer service. Caterpillar may fulfill this commitment by using new parts or components to help satisfy demand for Remanufactured Products.
The Antares EZ-21 screen should be used to determine where Reman parts orders CAN be filled with new (seeded). The msg column on the far right side of the screen can be used as the indicator. The messages codes used have the following meaning:
REE ? indicates a Reman equivalent part is available for the New part number
RMN ? indicates the Reman part is set up to "Fill with New" if Reman is not available.
If the field is blank or has any other message, the Reman part is not set up for "fill with new".
