Description of Change: A new steering diverter valve, that is commonly referred to as a "flip-flop valve", is now used. The diverter valve is a new design and the diverter valve incorporates a spool seal. The previous design did not have this seal. This could result in a transfer of oil from the steering oil system to the transmission. The new design will significantly reduce the probability of oil transfer to the transmission from this component.Adaptable To: The new 173-2075 Diverter Valve replaces 9T-1823 Valve and Mounting. The new 173-2075 Diverter Valve is effective with Challenger 65E (PIN: 6GS552), Challenger 75E (PIN: 6HS566), Challenger 85E (PIN: 6JS585), and Challenger 95E (PIN: 6KS793) Agricultural Tractors. The new 173-2075 Diverter Valve is adaptable to all earlier Tillage Tractors. The new 173-2075 Diverter Valve is a direct replacement for 9T-1823 Valve and Mounting.
