When you are going to clean the engine, allow the engine to cool for at least one hour. Disconnect the battery connection before you clean the engine. Cold cleaners that are applied to a hot engine can damage certain engine components.Care should be taken when you clean an engine with high pressure water. Use the following precautions:
Do not wash an engine while the engine is running or the engine is hot.
Do not wash any part of the fuel injection pump.
Do not wash the electrical shut off solenoid or any electrical components of the fuel injection pump when the engine is hot.
Ensure that the high pressure water is shielded from the following items: alternator, starter motor and any other electrical component. Also, You should not directly clean the items with the high pressure water.If the above precautions are ignored the following problems may occur:
Engine damage
Engine failure
Engine components could be damaged.
The manufacturer's warranty will be invalid.
