Symbol for the Hour MeterThe "Clear" switch is used in order to step through the program in Caterpillar Monitoring System. The technician should toggle the "Clear" switch as the display for the Caterpillar Monitoring System shows the symbol for the Hour Meter. The numerical code will use as many as six digits. The digits are divided into three fields with two digits in each field. For example, "20_ _02" is the calibration mode for the lift linkage position sensor. The first two digits are the calibration submode for the lift linkage position sensor. The last two digits are for the calibration step. If no error codes are present, the middle two digits will be blank.Note: If the machine is not equipped with a lift linkage position sensor, this calibration is not required.Calibration Procedure
