Torque the damper adapter bolts to215 +/- 40 n/m.
Note: In D9 applications, the bellyguard will need to be removed.Group 2 & Group4
Loosen and remove the crankshaft pulley Vbelts. Remove the crankshaft pulley to gain access to the damper adapterbolts. Torque the bolts to 215 +/- 40 n/m.
Note: In D9 & D10 applications, the bellyguard will need to be removed. Illustration 1OWNER NOTIFICATION

Group 1: This is a 1.0 hour job. InD9 applications, this is a 4.0 hour job. Group 2: Without V Belts installed, thisis a 1.0 hour job. With V Belts installed, this is a 2.0 hour job. In 773applications, this is a 3.0 hour job. In D10 applications, this is a 6hour job.Note: If Group 1 or Group 2 Engines have beeninstalled in an enclosure or other limited access application, additionallabor hours must be justified. Group 3: This is a 1.0 hour job. If theengine has been installed in 988 applications, this is a 3.0 hour job. Group 4: Without V Belts installed, thisis a 1.0 hour job.
