Check travel route for overpass clearances. Make sure there will be adequate clearance if machine being transported is equipped with ROPS, cab or canopy.Obey state and local laws governing weight, width and length of load.Never transport a track-type loader on a steel bed trailer.Always block trailer or rail car wheels before loading machine.
Remove ice, snow or other slippery material from shipping machine and loading dock.
Place transmission lever in PARK and engage lock lever. Lower all equipment, push governor control past detent and wait for engine to stop. Remove switch key. Cover engine exhaust opening. Install tie-downs at several locations, and block tracks, front and rear.
