One-Piece Fan Drive Mounting Group (If Equipped)

(1) Screw (2) Bolt (3) BoltNote: The front lifting bracket for the engine is located behind the fan drive mounting group. The engine lifting bracket is secured with the hardware for the fan drive mounting group.
Assemble the fan drive mounting group to the engine. Tighten bolt (2) finger tight.
Tighten bolt (3) finger tight.
Tighten screw (1) into the water regulator housing finger tight.
Tighten the front primary bolt (2) to a torque of 55 10 N m (40 7 lb ft).
Tighten bolt (3) to a torque of 28 7 N m (20 5 lb ft).
Tighten remaining hardware to a torque of 28 7 N m (20 5 lb ft).Two-Piece Fan Drive Mounting Group (If Equipped)

Installation of the fan drive mounting support assembly only
Install the support assembly (5) to the fan drive mounting group (2). Tighten bolt (6) to a torque of 28 7 N m (20 5 lb ft).
Tighten bolt (4) to a torque of 55 10 N m (40 7 lb ft).
Tighten the remaining hardware for the support assembly to a torque of 28 7 N m (20 5 lb ft).Installation of the entire fan drive mounting
Note: The front lifting bracket for the engine is located behind the fan drive mounting group. The engine lifting bracket is secured with the hardware for the fan drive mounting group.
Assemble the engine lifting bracket and the fan drive mounting to the engine.
Tighten the front bolt (3) finger tight.
Tighten screw (6) finger tight.
Tighten bolt (6) to a torque of 28 7 N m (20 5 lb ft).
Tighten bolt (4) finger tight.
Tighten the front bolt (3) to a torque of 55 10 N m (40 7 lb ft).
Tighten the bolt (4) to a torque of 55 10 N m (40 7 lb ft).
Tighten remaining hardware to a torque of 28 7 N m (20 5 lb ft).
