Subtract the smaller number from the larger number.136.6 – 128.8 = 7.8
Divide the result from Step 2 by the weight that is indicated from the Scale House.7.8 ÷ 128.8 = .0605 or 6.05%
Subtract 6.05% from the weight that was entered into the PCS during the calibration.10.48 – 6.05% = 9.85
Enter the PCS calibration mode. Then, press the "NEXT FNCTN" key until you are asked to enter the weight in the bucket ("ENTER WEIGHT"). Enter the new weight from Step 4 (9.85) and press "STORE".
With an empty bucket in the full rackback position, zero the scale of the PCS by performing an empty bucket lift at a typical full bucket lift speed. When the weight in the bucket is displayed, press the "ZERO" key. "ZERO ACCEPTED" should be displayed on the screen of the PCS.
To further refine the readings of the PCS, repeat Steps 1 through 6. As needed, this should be done in order to bring the PCS in alignment with the Scale House reading.Note: A smaller sampling of 5 or 6 truck loads is usually sufficient after the initial adjustment.
