Adjust Third Generation Panels
There are two types of parts that are located on the monitor panel. There are three LED displays with eight sectors and five adjustment potentiometers. The improved parts for the third generation monitor panel are described in a Service Magazine article. Refer to Service Magazine, SEPD0491 04 October, "Improved Fuel Level Display and Panel Housing Affect the Operator Monitor Group Serviceable Parts".

This view shows details of the LED displays that need to be adjusted. (L) Action light (M) First indicator setting (N) Eighth LED (P) Eighth LED (Q) First indicator setting (R) Fuel Level indicatorThe adjustable potentiometers are identified with the following codes: "R21", "R22", "R23", "R36" and "R37".Perform the following steps before the "Voltage Preset" procedure.
Turn the engine start switch to "OFF". Remove the Maestro Monitor Display from the right armrest. Disconnect two white connectors (E) and (C) from the panel. Connectors (E) and (C) are 7 pin connectors. Do not disconnect the white connectors (A), (B), and (D) .
Illustration 7 g00631399
This is a view of the bottom surface of the circuit board for the third generation monitor panel. (S) Potentiometer "R23" is for Hydraulic Oil Temperature. (T) Potentiometer "R22" is for Engine Coolant Temperature. (U) Potentiometer "R21" is for Fuel Level. (V) Buzzer
All five adjustment potentiometers are mounted on the bottom side of the circuit board. Therefore, it is unnecessary to disassemble the panel.
Connect connection (C) on the test harness to the 7 pin connector (C). Connect connection (E) on the test harness to the 7 pin connector (E) .
Turn the engine start switch to ON. The alarm should sound for approximately three seconds.Voltage Preset Procedure
Use these steps on the integrated circuits in order to adjust the following LED indicators. Use Illustration 7 in order to perform these steps.
Use a Digital Multimeter to measure voltage. Locate the round solder pins in the integrated circuit for "Hydraulic Oil Temperature" (S). The pins are marked "+" and "-". Touch the minus
