4. Disconnect all oil lines (1) and air lines from the control valve. Put covers on line openings. Put identification on all lines.5. Disconnect lever linkages (2). 6. Fasten a hoist to the control valve and remove the bolts (5) that hold control valve to plate (4). Remove scraper control valve (3). Weight of the control valve is 70 lb. (32 kg).Install Scraper Control Valve
1. Put control valve in position on the plate. Install the bolts that hold it.2. Connect the lever linkages to the control valve.3. Remove covers from the line openings and connect the air and oil lines to the control valve.4. Start the engine and operate the hydraulic levers to remove the air from the system. start by: a) remove scraper control valve 1. Remove two bolts (1) and spring housing (2) for elevator valve spool. Remove two bolts and flange from elevator valve spool. 2. Make a separation between housings (6) and (11) by removing two bolts. Remove plunger (7), retainer (10), spring (9), ring (5), snap ring, retainer and balls (4), snap ring (8), snap ring and seal (3). 3. Remove snap ring (15), spacer (12), spring (16) and washer (13) from elevator valve spool (20). Remove elevator spool (20) from control valve housing. Remove two bolts (18) to remove spring housing (17) for ejector valve spool. Remove two bolts (19) and flange (14) from ejector valve spool. 4. Remove seal (26), snap ring (23), retainer (25) and balls as a unit, snap ring (22), ring (24) and spring (21) from housing (17). 5. Remove snap ring (27), retainer (34), spring (28) and retainer (35). Remove two seals (29) from retainer (35). Remove retainer (30). Remove ejector valve spool (33) from control valve housing. Remove screw (31) from bottom of valve spool and remove spring (32) and valve (40). Remove two bolts (37) and spring housing (36) for the bowl valve spool. Remove two bolts (39) and flange (38) from bowl valve spool. 6. Remove snap ring (43), washer (41), spacer (44), spring (42) and washer (45) from bowl valve spool (48). Remove two bolts (47) and relief valve cover (46). 7. Remove valve assembly (49) from control valve housing. Remove spring (54). Remove pin (56) from cap (53). Remove cap (53), shims (52), spring (55), poppet valve (51) and cylinder (50) from valve assembly (49). 8. Remove and inspect nylon seals (57). Make replacements if necessary.Assemble Scraper Control Valve
1. Install new nylon seals if necessary in the control valve housing. 2. Install cylinder (5), poppet valve (2), spring (6) and shims (3) into valve housing (1). Install cap (7). Install pin (8) into cap (7). Install spring (4). Install valve assembly into control valve housing. Install relief valve cover and bolts. 3. Install bowl valve spool (14) in the control valve housing. Install washer (13), spacer (12), spring (10), washer (9) and
