Engine speed dial
Set the engine speed dial at "10".
Lower the left console.
Position the machine on level ground. Check the visibility and adjust the mirrors for the best vision close to the machine.
Fully depress the service brake pedal until the service brake pedal locks mechanically.
Increase the hydraulic oil temperature to 46° to 60° C (115° to 140° F).
Lower the stabilizers, the blade tip.
Fully extend the bucket cylinder and place the bucket on the ground.
Stop the engine.
Release the pressure in the hydraulic system.Note: Refer to Testing and Adjusting, "System Pressure - Release".
Raise the left console.

Swing pump
(1) Line relief valve (swing right)
(2) High-pressure cutoff valve
(3) Line relief valve (swing left)
(4) Pressure tap
Connect tooling (B2) 41,368 kPa (6,000 psi) pressure sensor to pressure tap (4) at port "MH".
Loosen the locknut of high-pressure cutoff valve (2) and turn the setscrew by one turn clockwise.
While the adjustment screw of high-pressure cutoff valve (2) is being held, tighten the locknut.

Connect tooling (E) to the service connector.
Start the Electronic Technician.
Select the Machine ECM and then select “OK”.
Select “Diagnostics” from the main menu.
Select “Diagnostic Tests”.
Select “Override Parameters”.
Select “Swing Brake Solenoid Override”.
Override the swing brake solenoid.Test Procedure
Clear all personnel from the machine and from the area around the machine.
Start the engine.
Set the engine speed dial at "10".
Lower the left console.

Power mode control button located on the soft panel switch
Push down on the power mode control button in order to activate power mode.Note: The indicator light will be illuminated when power mode is activated.

Automatic Engine Speed Control (AESC) as displayed on the programmable function key in the monitor.
Disable the automatic engine speed control through the monitor by pressing the programmable button.

Hydraulic modulation medium mode (monitor display)
Select the hydraulic modulation mode as medium. Press the lower front switch on the left joystick to select the hydraulic modulation mode.
The air conditioning should be turned off for the following test.
Slowly move the joystick to the full SWING LEFT position and the full SWING RIGHT position.
Check the pressure reading on the gauge at pressure tap (4). The pressure should be equal to the line relief valve pressure setting. Refer to Table 1 in this manual for the correct pressure.
If line relief valve (1) or (3) is not set to the proper specification, perform the following "Adjustment Procedure".Adjustment Procedure
Stop the engine.

Raise the left console.
Personal injury can result from hydraulic oil pressure and hot oil.Hydraulic oil pressure can remain in the hydraulic system after the engine has been stopped. Serious injury can be caused if this pressure is not released before any service is done on the hydraulic system.Make sure all of the attachments have been lowered, and the oil is cool before removing any components or lines. Remove the oil filler cap only when the engine is stopped, and the filler cap is cool enough to
