Steering pilot valve (5) is for machines that are equipped with wheel steering. Steering pilot valve (17) is for machines that are equipped with STIC steering.The steering hydraulic system is made up of three basic circuits:
Oil filter circuit
Pilot circuit
High pressure circuitWhen the machine is equipped with the secondary steering attachment, the steering system also includes this circuit.Note: Secondary steering is an optional attachment that is available on the 834G Wheel Tractor only. Secondary steering is not available on the 836G Landfill Compactor.Reference: Refer to Systems Operation, "Secondary Steering System" for more information.The main components of the oil filter circuit follow: hydraulic oil tank (22), steering pilot pump (21), hydraulic oil filter (20) and case drain oil filter (15) .The main components of the steering pilot system follow: hydraulic oil tank (22), steering pilot pump (21), steering pressure reducing valve (9), steering pilot check valve (14), secondary steering check valve (13), steering pilot valve (5) and (17), steering neutralizer valves (11) and (12) and steering quad check valves (8) .The main components of the high pressure steering system follow: hydraulic oil tank (22), steering pump (18), steering control valve (4), left steering cylinder (1) and right steering cylinder (2).
