Release the hydraulic system pressure before removing any hydraulic lines. Hydraulic oil under pressure can cause serious personal injury.
Identify all hydraulic lines as they are removed for installation purposes. Cap and plug all lines and fittings to prevent fluid loss and to keep contaminant from entering the system. 2. Remove hoses (2) & (3). Remove bolts (1). 3. Remove tube (4) and tube (5). Disconnect the linkage from the control valve.4. Remove the bolts that hold the valve and remove the valve from its mounting bracket. To install transmission neutralizer control valve, reverse the removal steps.Disassemble Transmission Neutralizer Control Valve
Start By:a. remove transmission neutralizer control valve 1. Remove cover (1) from the valve. Remove the O-ring seals from the cover.2. Remove spacer (2), shims (3), spring retainer, spring (4), spring retainer and valve spool (5) from valve body (6).3. Remove spring (7) and valve spool (8) from the valve body. 4. Remove nut (9) and retainer (10) from valve spool (8). 5. Remove plug (12). Remove O-ring seal from the plug.6. Remove seal (11) from the valve body.Assemble Transmission Neutralizer Control Valve
Make sure all of the parts are clean. Put clean hydraulic oil on all of the parts of the valve. Inspect and replace the O-ring seals as needed. 1. Install the O-ring seal on plug (1). Install plug in housing and tighten to a torque of 110 N m (80 lb ft).2. Install a new seal in the valve body with tool group (A). Install the seal until it makes contact with the counterbore in the body and with the lip of the seal toward the inside of the body. 3. Install retainer (3) on valve spool (4). Install the nut (2) that holds it. Tighten the nut to a torque of 45 4 N m (35 3 lb ft). 4. Install valve spool assembly (5) and spring (6) in the valve body.5. Install valve spool (8), retainer (9), spring (10) and retainer in the valve body. Install spacer (12) and shims (11) in cover (7).
