1. Fasten a hoist and tool (A) to put the final drive carrier (1) in position on the wheel assembly. 2. Remove tool (A) and the hoist, then install the nuts (2) that hold the carrier in place. start by:a) remove final drive carriers 1. Lift three shafts (1) out of the carrier with an eyebolt or remove the snap rings (2) and remove the shafts from the bottom. 2. Remove the three gears (5), six steel washers (6) and six brass washers (3) from the carrier. Weight of the gears is 105 lb. (47.3 kg) each.3. Remove two roller bearings (4) and spacer (7) from each of the gears.Assemble Final Drive Carriers
1. Install two bearings (3) and spacer (4) in each gear (1) with the spacer between the bearings.2. Put the gears, steel washers and brass washers in position in carrier with steel washer (5) next to each side of the gear and brass washer (2) next to the carrier. 3. Install the three shafts (6) and the snap rings. Turn the flat sides of the three shafts toward the outside of the carrier.end by:a) install final drive carriers
