General Information
The water spray system distributes water to the drums to prevent asphalt from sticking during operation. On double-drum machines, each drum is equipped with a spray bar. The spray bar is mounted to the front of the front drum and to the rear of the rear drum.Note: On single-drum machines, the drum is equipped with a spray bar. The spray bar is mounted to the front of the drum.The electrical portion of the water spray system is made up of a switch and electric motor-driven pump. A single fuse with a relay and timer provides power to the water spray system.The water spray system consists of a water tank and spray bars. The water tank has an attached drain valve.
