Disconnect harness assemblies (13) and remove the connecting hardware.

Remove bolts (14) and bolts (15). Remove oil pan (16).

Remove O-ring seals (17), O-ring seal (18), and seal (19).

Remove tube assembly (20) and tube assembly (21). Remove bolts (22) in order to remove housing (23).

Remove bolt (27) and bolt (28).

Remove plug (29) and bolt (30).

Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device onto torque converter (31). The weight of torque converter (31) is approximately 227 kg (500 lb).
Remove nuts (32).
Remove torque converter (31) from the transmission.

Remove seal (33).
If necessary, remove studs (34).
