Liter Family Of EnginesUse the specifications in the Technical Information System instead of those in Special Instruction, SEHS8918-01, "Governor Performance Data". The information in the Technical Information System is more current than the information in the special instruction. Use the procedure that follows to get governor specifications through the Technical Information System.
1. From the "Caterpillar Network" access "AIMS."2. At the "ACRS/IMS" menu, select "GKN402."3. On the second selection menu, select "03 TMI - Performance Parameter."4. On the "03 TMI - Performance Parameter" screen, enter "TM9999" in the "Data Reference Number."5. On the "TM9999 Cross Reference Screen" find the "TM" number corresponding to your governor group part number.6. Return to the previous screen using "PF5."7. Enter the "TM" number for your governor and governor change level. (You must add the letters "TM" in front of the four digit numbers the system provides.)8. The governor data is on two screens that follow.
