A     242-6163     Wrench - Hex     1    Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before assembly, clean all parts thoroughly in cleaning fluid. Allow the parts to air dry. Wiping cloths or rags should not be used to dry parts. Lint may be deposited on the parts which may cause later trouble. Inspect all parts. If any parts are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement.

Use a suitable lifting device to position implement piston pump (6). The weight of implement piston pump (6) is approximately 48 kg (106 lb).
Use Tooling (A) to install bolts (3) .
Connect elbow assembly (5) and hose assembly (4) .

To avoid system damage, make sure that the hydraulic pump is properly filled with hydraulic oil before start-up.
Use the following to fill the case of the implement pump, the steering pump, and the fan pumps. Fully open the fill valve that is located between the hydraulic tank and the implement pump.
Attach a purge line to the pressure tap that is located in the case drain line above the fan pump.
Begin filling the hydraulic tank with oil. Once oil begins to flow out of the purge line, remove the purge line and fully close the fill valve.
Continue to fill the hydraulic tank to the correct level.Note: During initial start-up, the engine should never run higher than low idle until the hydraulic system has been cycled and the hydraulic tank oil level has been readjusted to the correct level.End By: Install the steering pump.
