When reporting the repair, use "PI1266" as the Part Number, "7751" as the Group Number, "56" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and "T" as the SIMS Description Code. Exception: If the repair is done after failure, use "PI1266" as the Part Number, "7751" as the Group Number, "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code, and "Z" as the SIMS Description Code.
Problem
Unintentional implement activation may occur when certain switches on the right hand joystick are pushed while operating in the medium pressure mode on certain 320, 320L, 320N and 325LN Excavators. When the 7X6388 Switch on the right hand console is in the medium pressure circuit position, the top left and right buttons on both joysticks will rotate the implement (eg, a rotating bucket or grapple).
