Use the following procedure to install the check valve assembly to the spray bar group (A) :
Remove existing water spray bar group.
Remove existing connector and install 439-9984 Check Valve As (4) in the same location (B). Refer Illustration 1.
Install spray bar group using four 143-9644 Retainer Plates (3) and rubber inserts (D) under each of the four clamps (E) .
Use longer 287-8257 Bolts (2) to attach the clamps. Do not tighten the bolts at this time.
Position the spray bar group for proper clearance when the drum scraper group is in the up position and in the down position. Pay special attention to location (C). Refer Illustration 2.
Tighten 287-8257 Bolts (2). Recheck for proper clearance when the drum scraper group is in the up position and in the down position.The parts that are listed in the Table 1 are adaptable to the machines and effective in production with the machines that are listed in the Table 2.
