Cylinders equipped with lock valves can remain pressurized for very long periods of time, even with the hoses removed.Failure to relieve pressure before removing a lock valve or disassembling a cylinder can result in personal injury or death.Ensure all pressure is relieved before removing a lock valve or disassembling a cylinder.

(1) Lubricate the threads with Tooling (J). Tighten the nut to a torque of 1200 120 N m (885 89 lb ft). (2) Lubricate the threads with Tooling (J). Tighten the head to a torque of 600 130 N m (443 96 lb ft). (3) Install the bearing to a depth of 7.0 0.5 mm (0.28 0.02 inch). (4) Apply Tooling (N) to the outer diameter of the bearing prior to installation. (5) Lubricate the sealing lips lightly with the lubricant that is being sealed. (6) Apply Tooling (D) to the wiper seal groove prior to installation of the wiper seal.Installation Procedure

Attach a suitable lifting device to frame leveling cylinder (8). The weight of frame leveling cylinder (8) is approximately 41 kg (90 lb). Position frame leveling cylinder (8) .
Install pin assembly (9). Install bolt (10) .
