Install seals (23) and (24) on manifold assembly (22). Install the seals on the manifold assembly, as shown. Put clean oil on the lip of the seals.

Align the oil holes in manifold assembly (22) with the holes in housing (13). Install the manifold assembly and bolts (19) .

Raise the temperature of bearing (16) and install bearing (16) onto hub assembly (7). Bearing (16) must be seated squarely on the hub assembly after bearing (16) has cooled.
Install three rings (15) onto hub assembly (7) .

Install bearing (14) into housing (13) .

Fasten a hoist and Tooling (A) onto housing (13) and lower the housing into position on hub assembly (7) .

Install ring (12) onto hub assembly (7) .

Start with a plate and install brake plates (20) and friction discs (21). Alternate the plates and discs.

Install plate (18) and bolts (17) onto housing (13) .

Install sleeve bearing (9) into hub assembly (7) .

Install seals (10) and (11) into piston (8) .
Put clean oil on the seals and install piston (8) into hub assembly (7) .

Install input hub (4) .

Start with a plate and install clutch plates (5) and friction discs (6) .

Install sleeve bearing (3) into plate (2) .
Position plate (2) onto the housing and install bolts (1) .End By: Connect the final drive, the steering clutch, and the brake. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Final Drive, Steering Clutch, and Brake - Connect".
