2. Remove oil lines (1) and (2) from the transmission oil pump. 3. Remove the bolts (3) and washers that hold the transmission oil pump to the flywheel housing.4. Remove the transmission oil pump (4).Install Transmission Oil Pump
1. Put the transmission oil pump (1) in position in the flywheel housing. Install the bolts and washers that hold the transmission oil pump in position.2. Connect the two oil lines to the transmission oil pump.3. Install the left side panel on the machine.Disassemble Transmission Oil Pump
start by: a) remove transmission oil pump1. Make a mark across the manifold assembly, body and cover assembly of the transmission oil pump. The mark will prevent mixing the parts of the transmission oil pump during assembly. 2. Remove six bolts (2) and washers. Remove cover assembly (1). 3. Remove seal (3) from the cover assembly. 4. Remove seal (5) from the cover assembly.5. Remove two bearings (4) from the cover assembly. 6. Remove gear (6) and gear (7) from the manifold assembly.7. Remove body (8) from the manifold assembly.8. Remove the two bearings and seal from the manifold assembly (9).Assemble Transmission Oil Pump
1. Make sure all of the parts of the transmission oil pump are clean and free of dirt and foreign material.2. Install the two bearings in the manifold assembly with tool (A). Install the bearings with the joints of the bearings at an angle of 30° 15° from a vertical line through the center of the gears. Install the bearings to a depth of .062 in. (1.57 mm) below the machined surface of the manifold assembly.3. Install a new seal in the manifold assembly. Put clean SAE 30 oil on the seal. 4. Put the body (3) in position on the manifold assembly. Make sure the mark on the body is in alignment with the mark on the manifold assembly.5. Install two gears (1) and (2) as shown. 6. Install the two bearings in the cover assembly with tool (A). Install the two bearings with the joints of the bearings at an angle of 30° 15° from a vertical line through the center of the gears. Install the bearings to a depth of .062 in. (1.57 mm) below the machined surface of the cover assembly.7. Install a new seal in the cover assembly. Put clean SAE 30 oil on the seal. 8. Install the seal in the cover assembly with tool (B). Install the seal with the lip of the seal toward the outside of the cover assembly. Put clean SAE 30 oil on the lip of the seal. 9. Put the cover assembly (4) in position on the body. Make sure the mark on the cover assembly is in alignment with the mark on the body.10. Install the six bolts and washers that hold the transmission oil pump together. The transmission oil pump must turn freely by hand after assembly.end by: a) install transmission oil pump
