Remove all of the existing bolts, washers, and mounts holding the PTO filter and replace with new bolts, washers, and mounts. See Rework Procedure.

PARTS DISPOSITION
Handle the parts in accordance with your Warranty Bulletin on warranty parts handling.
Rework Procedure
1) Disconnect the two lines (A) 270-3435?& 263-3348 connected to filter mount.
Note: Disconnecting lines will allow the filter base to move more so the new bolts won?t strip the inner threads of the aluminum PTO filter base when threading the new bolts in.

2) Loosen Clamp (B).
3) Remove the 3 bolts.
4) Replace all parts with news parts listed in Parts Required for the Service Letter.
Note: Illustration below shows correct location of new parts.

5) Hand tighten the bolts.
6) Torque bolts to 41 Nm.
Note: This torque value is a non-standard torque for M10 bolts. It is the torque value used for the 9D-7924.
7) Connect lines (A) and tighten clamp (B). Torque value for the ORFS fitting on lines to the filter mount is 150 Nm +/- 15. Torque value for the nut mounting the clamps to the stud is 55 Nm +/- 10.
