(1) Put clean engine oil on seal surface of collar before assembly. (2) Rubber toric seals and all surfaces in contact with them must be clean and dry at assembly. Put a thin layer of oil on the surfaces of the metal seals that are in contact just before installation. Put lubricant on all other seals at assembly. Seal rings must be assembled square with the bore and the toric must not be bulged or twisted.(3) At assembly, put the machined face of plate against end of shaft.(4) Put .25 liter (1/2 pint) of SAE 30W oil in roller.(5) At installation, put liquid soap on seal.
